Terms of Use

You must enter into this Agreement if you want to register as a customer with Better Globe AS. As used in this Agreement, "we," "BG" or "Better Globe" means Better Globe AS and "you" means the individual or entity who register as a customer of Better Globe. Any individual or entity that wants to use the Service must accept the terms of this Agreement without change. BY CHECKING THE "I AGREE TO THE TERMS & CONDITIONS" AND BY BECOMING A CUSTOMER OF BG, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT AND ALL SPECIFICATIONS AND GUIDELINES INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE.

User Account, Password, and Security

To complete your registration as a customer of BG, you will need to provide your name, country, language, phone, email address and a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account, and are responsible for all activities that occur under your password or account. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your computer. Be sure to log off when you finish using a shared computer.

You agree to (a) immediately notify Better Globe (BG) of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session. BG cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this Section.

Public Reputation

You acknowledge and agree that you will not use any Information from the Site or publish anything to the Site in a way that would be damaging to BG's public reputation or that of its employees, board members, shareholders, agents, or solution partners. Additionally, you acknowledge that if you choose to publish any content from BG, in a public setting, including on the Internet, in a way which disparages BG, BG's board members, employees, shareholders or partners, BG reserves the right to demand immediate removal of the published content, to furthermore pursue all recourses and remedies available under the law.

Content Descriptions

BG attempts to be as accurate as possible to provide a compelling user experience. BG does not warrant that the content, image and video descriptions or other content of this Site is accurate, complete, current, or error-free. BG offers site content translated into several languages. We do not guarantee the accuracy of such translations.

Media and Content Usage

The text, images, videos, audio, news, marks, logomarks, and other content of the Better Globe website ("Site Content") are proprietary to the Better Globe or used consistent with the owner's permission or applicable law or regulation. The Better Globe authorizes you to view, download, and print the Site Content subject to the following conditions:

  • The Better Globe logo may not be used for any purpose without explicit permission. These images may not be used by persons who are not Better Globe employees or on products, publications or web pages that are not Better Globe-sponsored. These images may not be used to imply endorsement or support of any external organization, program, effort, or persons.
  • Using Site Content for personal websites or commercial purposes is subject to review and approval by the Better Globe.
  • You may not remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices, including, without limitation, attribution information, credits, photo courtesy and copyright notices that have been placed in or near the Site Content by the Better Globe.
  • Any displays or printouts of the Site Content must be marked "© [insert year of display or printout] The Better Globe AS. All rights reserved."
  • Images with copyright imprinted cannot be copied, shared, modified or used for any purpose outside Better Globe's website without permission.
  • Not copyrighted images can be used for educational, informational or commercial purposes as long as they are not taken out of their context and violated in ways that can harm the Better Globe or its partners' reputation and sales.

All parties downloading, printing, or using the Site Content in any manner represent and warrant that their use will be consistent with this license and that they will not infringe or violate the rights of any other party or breach any contract with or legal duty to any other parties.

General

  • No agency, partnership, joint venture, employee-employer or franchisor-franchisee relationship is intended or created by this Agreement.
  • BG may assign its rights and responsibilities hereunder without notice to you.
  • These terms and conditions will inure to the benefit of BG's successors, assigns and licensees.
  • Any heading, caption or section title contained herein is inserted only as a matter of convenience, and in no way defines or explains any section or provision hereof.
  • The failure of a party to exercise or enforce any right or provision of this Agreement will not constitute a waiver of the right or provision.
  • BG's failure to act with respect to a breach by you or others does not waive BG's right to act with respect to subsequent or similar breaches.
  • This Agreement constitute the entire agreement between you and BG, and supersedes all other communications, written or oral, with regard to the subject matter herein, the Site and services provided by BG.
  • These terms and conditions may not be modified by you.
  • BG will attempt to notify you when major changes are made to this User Agreement but you should periodically review the most up-to-date version at www.betterglobe.com/TermsAndConditions/UserAgreement. BG may, in its sole discretion, modify or revise these Terms and the associated policies at any time, and you agree to be bound by such modifications or revisions.
  • Nothing in this User Agreement shall be deemed to confer any third-party rights or benefits.
  • BG does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the Site, and operation of the Site may be interfered with by numerous factors outside BG's control.
  • You agree that BG is a platform and as such is not responsible or liable for any Content.
  • You use the Site at your own risk.

Privacy policy

When you register on our website, or subscribe to our email list, we collect personally identifiable information from you. Depending on the information you give away, we will collect and maintain your:

  • contact information, such as your name, country, language, cell phone, and e-mail;
  • certain other information you may provide to us in your communications or in connection with other services.

We collect this information in order to efficiently communicate with you about your interests in us. We reserve the right do so by using the e-mail address or cell phone number you provided.

To help and follow you up, you agree to having a BG representative communicate with you. A BG representative includes the one who invited you to BG, our support, our IT team, or any employee of BG.

We may collect information about your computer, including your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and in order to create reports. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.

We use Google Analytics to better track how our users interact and engage with our website and social media. Through the reports from Google Analytics, we can analyze and improve the user experience.

Cookies

Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. These cookies are used to store information, such as the time that the current visit occurred, whether the visitor has been to the site before and what site referred the visitor to the web page. The cookies will also store information if one of our existing customers referred you to our site, if any. Through cookies, we can recognize repeat users, facilitate the user's access to and use of the site and allow a site to track usage behavior that will allow content improvements, and to connect you with the one who referred you to BG. Some of the cookies we use are to enable essential parts of our site to operate and have already been set.

We use cookies for Google Analytics on our site. Google Analytics is a web analytics tool that helps us understand how our visitors engage with our site. Google Analytics collects information anonymously. It reports website trends without identifying individual visitors. We may use Google Analytics to enable data collection for Display and Search Remarketing and for Advertising Reporting features like Audience Demographics and Interests Reporting, DoubleClick Campaign Manager reporting, DoubleClick Bid Manager reporting, and Google Display Network Impression Reporting that help us better understand our users. We may link Google AdWords to our Google Analytics account, which means our ads may appear across a large collection of websites, mobile apps, and video content that are part of the Google Display Network.

Opt-out

If you do not wish to receive news and promotional materials, please login to your account and change your settings under "My Account". Additionally, to opt-out of our news and promotional emails, you may click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.

If you do not want a cookie placed on your computer by Better Globe, you may disable cookies altogether by modifying the Preferences section of your browser (under Edit/Preferences/Advanced). Note that it is possible that some aspects of Better Globe's site may be unavailable to you if you choose this option. If you have no concerns about accepting cookies, but wish to be informed of their appearance, you may turn on a warning prompt by modifying the cookie warning section of your browser in Edit/Preferences/Advanced.
